Mark joined the staff in September 2023 as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Worship. Mark is passionate about a good inductive Bible study and making the gospel accessible so people can experience Jesus through Scripture. Originally from California, Mark moved to Oregon in 2012 and has served in various pastoral roles in Covenant churches around the greater Portland metro area. Mark has been an adjunct professor at George Fox University since 2015 where he has enjoyed teaching worship, music, and faith. Mark and his son Sawyer enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest, going on hikes, picking berries, building Legos, and riding their bikes to a local muffin shop near their house. In his free time, Mark enjoys cooking!
