John and his wife Karen serve as Associate Co-Pastors for Youth, working with middle and high school students. John’s been involved in youth ministry in Indiana, Illinois, and Oregon, and served a church on the Oregon coast for 10 years before moving to McMinnville in 2020. John and Karen have four kids and enjoy family walks and bike rides around the neighborhood, as well as hiking and camping around the Pacific Northwest. John was trained in worship studies at the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies, and enjoys pickleball and woodworking when he’s not pastoring or parenting.
