When we focus on Jesus, we can see how Jesus studied God's Word, spent time in prayer, and grew in wisdom and knowledge before going into his ministry. This is a wonderful model for us as we teach our children about faith and relationships so that they can be God's love to a hurting world. We provide a variety of opportunities for children to encounter and develop a relationship with God, experience the redemption of Jesus, and learn about Christian living at a developmentally appropriate level:
Sunday School Classes at 9:15 a.m.
Labor Day through Memorial Day
0-4 years: Nursery
Kindergarten-5th Grade: The Bible in One Year
Sunday Worship at 10:30 a.m.
0-3 years: Nursery Care
PreK-5th Grade: All children PreK and older are invited to join us in the sanctuary for singing and prayer together with the adults. At 11 a.m. children are blessed and sent to their classes to continue their learning.
We have special activities just for kids because we believe in the value of giving children a variety of opportunities to know and experience Jesus and to develop relationships with other people in the church. We provide opportunities for singing and performing, Easter celebrations, an annual Day Camp week each summer designed just for kids, a safe and fun alternative to traditional activities on October 31, other summer camps, and special opportunities to serve.
