Cascades Camp and Conference Center  McMinnville Covenant Church supports Cascades Camp and Conference Center in Yelm, WA. Cascades Camp provides retreats and family camps for all ages, and summer camps for children entering 2nd grade through 12th grade. Cascades Camp is not only a great summer experience, but it is a highlight of life’s spiritual journey for campers.Cascades contains three camps on its campus and a conference center – Camp Timber Rock for junior high, Brightwood Station for elementary, and Sunrise Ranch horse camp. In addition, Cascades provides a fabulous shepherding program for high school students called Servant And Leadership Training (SALT). Scholarships are available for campers from the camp and the church. Registrations are available at church and online. Tilikum Day Camp We also provide an opportunity for a week-long camp at the beginning of the summer at George Fox University’s affiliate Camp Tilikum. This is a day camp over Independence Day week where children get outdoor adventures in Christian living. The camp has a variety of activities including water fun, nature hikes and more. Our week at Tilikum this year is June 28-July 3. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Contact the church office between May and June to register for Camp Tilikum. |
