GROW
In order to make our GROW goals a reality we offer multiple approaches to Christian Formation.  We want everyone who calls McMinnville Covenant home to participate in at least one of these paths to Christian Formation:

• GROW Groups

These groups meet on Sunday mornings after worship during the Christian Formation hour.  In all of them we desire to dig deeper into the Bible text for the day and to share in discussion about ways to apply the focus of the sermon to our own lives.  There is time for sharing prayer needs and we pray for one another.  Opportunities for service both inside and outside the church will be offered for those who want to help.  One GROW group is designed to do more service ministry together (see Pastor Ted).  Another one is focused on “family matters” (see Frank Bumpus).  And another welcomes guests and new attenders and is facilitated by church chair Ted Nyquist.

 

Classes are also offered during the Sunday Christian Formation hour for those who prefer teaching.  Topics and teachers will vary.  There is an ongoing class by and for women and at least one other topical class each Sunday.
